REGATTA AT COROMANDEL. NAIAD WINS KEEL CLASS. • [Bl' TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORJITSSPONDENT, ] COROMANDEL. Sunday. There was a good attendance of residents and visitors at the Coromandel regatta which was held off Wool shed Bay, B ee l son's Island, yesterday. A light easterly wind prevailed. The kee] class race was won by Naiad, <he centreboard class by Starloch. and the ISft. class and under by Ben Ma three. A special prize was donated by the TtTTonue Development Company for centreboard bonts. and bv the Mount Okatea Mining Company for the small class. The finishing times were as follows-~ Keel Class.—Queenie (scrl. 2h 13m 5 S - Ariel (sm). 2h 21m 355 : . Pen (14m). 2h 31m 40s; Naiad (20m I. 2h 32ni 455. The result on corrected times was: Naiad. 1; Quee.nie, 2; Ariel. 3. Centreboard Class.—Starloch (scr), 2h 18 m 50s: Omatere (scr). 2h 30m 20s; Miraee (9m). 2h 42m 455; C'elox (sm). 2h 45m 13 s - Varuna (13m). 2h 48m 10s; Doreen (12m)' 2h 50m 235; Hiua (10m), 2h 53m 555 ; Waitohi (25m), 2h 58m 15s. The result on corrected times was: Starloch. 1; Waitohi. 2: Mir a pre 3.
