BRIDGE INCIDENT.
BAN ON THE FILM. CHIEF SECRETARY'S DECISION. SYDNEY. March 24. A film depicting the incident at the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Saturday when Captain do Groot severed Iho ribbon with his sword was banned in all the, theatres in New South Wales, the Chief Secretary, Mr. M. Gosling, having prohibited its display. Mr. Gosling's letter to the theatre managers simply states that the prohibition is "in the public interest." The film lias been exported for exhibition overseas and in the other States of Australia.
