LEADER OF OPPOSITION. RETIREMENT EXPECTED. (Received March 25, s.ii ji.mA ■SYDNEY, March 2". Tlio Sydney Morning Herald says a special meeting of the New South Wales Parliamentary Nationalist Party has been convened for Tuesday. It is stated in political circles that the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. T. Tt. Bavin, probably will announce his resignation of the leadership at that meeting. It, is practically certain that Mr. P>. S. Stevens, deputy-leader, will be chosen to fill the vacancy. In an interview Mr. Bavin declined to confirm or deny the report that he intended t» retire.
