The Waiugaro-Te Akau sheepdog trials were held this week in good weather and among the largo number of competitors there were dogs from as far south as Hawke's Bay. The results were:— Long Head (Main Trunk Centre Championship) .—Mr. Lind's Myrt, 50 points, 1; Mr. McNaughton's Willie, 49 points, 2; Mr. Buckley's Fey,'4B points, 3. Short Head..—Mr. McNaughton's Willie and Mr. Clifford's Gay, CO points, equal, 1; Mr. Buckley's Fey, 59 points, 3. Huntaway.—Mr. Cochrane's Flirt. 42 points, 1; Mr. Broad's Jack. 33 points, 2; Mr. Aldworth's Gert. 23 points, 3. Driving Competition.—Mr. McNaughton s Kep, 47 points, 1; Mr. Richards' Bill, 39 points, 2; Mr. J. Seavill's Star and Mf. Auld's Scott. 3G points. 3.
