BANK ROBBERY.
I CLERK STRUCK SENSELESS. NEW SOUTH WALES CRIME. (Received March IP, 11.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. March IS. Robbers to-day entered the branch of the Bank of New South Wales at Muswellbrook, a town situated ]SO miles north-west of Sydney. They threw pepper in the eyes of Mr. W. Murray, the only officer present and also hit him on the head with an ebony ruler, rendering him unconscious. The thieves stole at least £IOO, but a larger sum was overlooked by them.
