IMPORTANT PLAY.
The talking-picture rights of Mr. Noel Coward's " Cavalcade " have been secured by Fox Films, who intend to make this inspiring play tile subject of their most ambitious production in Hollywood this year. " Cavalcade." which is still, at Drury Lane, the outstanding success of the London stage and was recently published as a serial in The Daily Mail, has been regarded since its first night as the greatest dramatic prize available to the talking-pic-ture world. Fox Films have also secured the talkingpicture rights of Mr. Noel Coward's " Bitter Sweet," which has been sought by every film producer since its first London production. Both these Films, with probably a third play by Mr. Coward, will be ready for presentation in the autumn. Mr. Coward, who is now in South America, will shortly go to Hollywood to consult with Fox Films on these productions.
