DOWAGER OR DEBUTANTE.
THE PEARL. Pearls aro cheaper to-day than they have been for many years, especially seed pearls. One never tires of the fascination of tho real pearl. An important point about them is that they can be worn on any occasion and suit equally well the dowager or the debutante. Large stud ear-rings are still very fashionable. They fit close against tho lobe of the car. The new hats, worn at, an angle, cover one eat- and a large solitaire ear-ring on the exposed ear is very smart. Jewelled clip brooches are much larger and extremely effective when worn on, the shoulder strap of your evening gown. On day dresses they are now clipped on to tho slecvo at tho cuff.
