DUMB BOY CURED BY FALL.
It was stated afc the Marylebone Police Court, London, recently, that a 28-year-old baker, Thomas F. Butt, of Paddington, who was born deaf and dumb, developed the power of speech at the age of 15. A detective said that Butt was climbing a tree at a school at Anerley when he fell. He sustained concussion, and after a time recovered. It was then found that he could speak.
