FIGHT WITH BURGLAR.
PEER'S SON'S ADVENTURE.
ESCAPE OF THE INTRUDER. The Hon. Rupert Baring, son of Lo'rd Revelstoke, foughfc a' powerfully-built burglar single-handed in a bedroom at Lord Revelstojie's house in Bryanston Square, London, on January 30. The man is believed to have used a skeleton key to enter the house. Mr. Baring arrived home about one o'clock in the morning, and, going into his bedroom, surprised the man there. He closed the door and grappled with the intruder. Furniture was overturned as the two swayed to and fro in a fierce fight. The burglar managed to free himself and dash downstairs. Mr. Baring snatched the nearest article, a glass, and hurled it at the intruder, who, it is thought, was struck on the head and injured. Lord Revelstoke slept undisturbed in an adjoining room throughout the struggle. /
