A PAGE FROM LIFE. Marking the return to the screen of that, popular actress Mae Marsh, "Over tho Hill," Fox Films' wonderful drama of mo! her love, will be screened at the Majestic next lltursdav. There must bo many film enthusiasts who remember the enormous success of the old silent version which starred Marv Carr, and winch wns voted one of the screen's greatest triumphs. Great as was that picture, it cannot be compnred with the new talking version. " Over the Hill," as presented to-day, will go down as a classic among classics. It is a true page from life, and tells the intensely human story of a mother who struggles all her life to keep the home going only to find herself net wauled by her children—with the exception ot tho youngest, who was considered the black sheep of the family, but whoso heart was of gold. Mae IMarsh, as the mother, is a revelation. The screen, from time to time, has presented many brilliant " mother " characterisations, but never before has any - tiling been seen quite so remarkable as .Miss Marsh's version of an adoring mother. All who see the film will surely live every moment of joy and of sadness with her.
