CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—There was a continuation of fine weather and light southerly wind during the week-end. The barometer was practically steady at 30.00 in. during the two days. Wellington.—The weather at the weekend was brilliantly fine.
Christchurch.—Saturday was sunny and pleasant, with an easterly wind. Yesterday morning was bright, but the afternoon was overcast.
