MOTUIHI HEALTH CAMP.
HAWKE'S BAY CHILDREN.
FRESH PARTY OF 65 ARRIVES. Sixty-five children from Napier arrived at Auckland by train on Saturday morning to enter the Auckland Community Sunshine Association's camp on Motuihi Island. They w«re met at the railway station by members of the association in 10 motor-cars and later proceeded io Motuihi in three private launches. Including children who arrived from the Hawke's Bay earthquake region earlier in the month, there are now 95 children on the island, living under conditions designed to remove ill effects of the earthquake. Dr. J. Walls is the camp superintendent and the educational needs of the children are being met adequately by the services of three teachers. The successful results obtained through conducting a similar camp recently caused the Community Sunshine Association to extend the offer of the resources at its disposal. Gifts of fruit and provisions for the children are already being received from Auckland residents.
