PROHIBITION LAW.
LITERARY DIGEST POLL. VOTES OF SEVENTEEN STATES. (Received February 20. 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. Feb. !25. The liquor poll being taken by the Literary Digest shows that of a total of 775,332 votes cast to date 625,806 favour tlie repeal of prohibition and 149,526 favour its continuance.
Seventeen States have been canvassed so far. Now York and North Carolina continue Iho "wettest" and "driest" States respectively.
