MUSICAL SOCIETIES.
ACTIVITIES IN AUCKLAND. / PREPARATION FOR YEAR'S WORK. / Auckland musical societies, which have been in the usual summer recess, will shortly begin preparations for the coming year's activities. The Little Theatre Society has already commenced rehearsals for its nest production, " The Constant Nymph," to be staged in April. The Royal Auckland Choir will hold its first practice on Monday evening. At a prior meeting, details of the programme 'for the society's next concert will be finalised by the committee. The Bohemian Orchestra will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, March 2, when future plans will be discussed and a commencement may be made in rehearsals. In the Second week in March, the Auckland Choral Society will hold a committee meeting. The Auckland Operatic Society .will, not recommence operations until *fter Easter.
