Returning south they cycled through Auckland to Hamilton, to Cambridge, Rotorua, Taupo and home to Raetihi —a total of approximately 1 000 miles covered in 1 7 days riding time. The bikes behaved splendidly on the whole trip, and consequently the boys spent an enjoyable holiday, unmarred by accident or trouble in any way.
