PROTECT YOUR HANDS.

Chapped hands result from exposing them to cold, biting winds shortly after they have been washed. The natural oil which keeps the skin soft is removed by washing. In warm weather the glands under the skin soon make good the loss, but it is much slower process in winter. The treatment of this condition is a simple matter. Use cold cream or a mixture of zinc ointment and castor oil. Ibis is best applied at bedtime when the bands are not being used. A cure is often hastened if the bands are kept covered up with a pair of old gloves.
