TOWN HOUSE.

NO DRASTIC DECORATION. TO BE OCCUPIED SOON. The Princess Royal and ihe Earl of Harewood are having their new home, 32, Green Street, off Park Lane, furnished. Workmen have been busy putting in furniture in preparation for early occupation. Some of the furnishings have been removed there from Chesterfield House. No drastic redecoration scheme is to be undertaken.

It is probable that the Princess Royal and her husband will be in residence at

Green Street very soon, though they will not go there immediately they come back to town. There will be only a small staff at the new house, and some of (he Harcwood personnel will be brought there. It is the intention of the Princess and the Earl to make Green Street their home throughout the season. In a telegram thanking the Lord Mayor of London for his congratulations on her new title, ilie Princess Royal wished the Lord Mayor and the citizens of London " a renewal of prosperity in 1932," writes a London journal.
