DANGER ON MOTOR-CYCLES.
Sir, —In reading "Frank T. s letter I noted his- unfavourable comments on motor-cycles which brings to my mind Tho question, Why .is it that there « so much prejudice against the motoirvele' I will endeavour to answer that mi est ion I quite agree that motorcycling always has Us attendant risks but those risks are greatly increased with excessive speed. Thero are ', 1 am sorry to say, in our midst many who are willing to sacrifice their own safety and the safotv of others for the sake of an isintoll.bl. Inst for speed. I„ •idincr along some of our splendid concret" loads at between 25 ,nd 30 an hour fellow motor-cyclists have passed mo at a speed that must have been in the region of 50 miles an hour, and more often than not they are carrying pillion passengers. Such ""thinking persons are the ones responsible for the prejudice against the motor-cycle^ Patumahoe. B. J. Harwell.
