THE GRACE HARWAR.
Sir, —Your correspondent "Moderino evidently does not possess an artistic or poetic soul. For him to call the & iace Harwar an "ugly, rust-covered, threemaster," is a slur on the beautiful ships of old—the rust, sums tip the true romance of the sea. Has " Moderino ' ever seen a full rigged ship in full sail? Tias he ever been to sea on one ? Does he know the indescribablo feeling one expenenjses when hanging over a yard-arm, g g with a hard*billowing sail? I doubt but perhaps he knows the eveilasting engine-throb of the modern, steamer and prefers first-class comforts. To me, the Grace Harwar should be the j Graceful Harwar. Perhaps " Moderino can ex plain why the poetry of the nearly all concerns the " wind-jammer us beauty.
