DEAD MAN'S IDENTITY.
WATCH PROVIDES A CLUE.
The body of the man discovered on Tuesday in dense bush on Corcoran's Pidge, Titirangi, has not yet been definitely identified, although a silver watch found on the body has been recognised by an Auckland watchmaker as that brought to him for repair about a year ago by a Mr. Hawthorne. The watch maker was unable to supply further particulars. Persons who may be in a position to give any information which is likely to lead to the establishment of th<» man's identity are requested to communicate with the police.
