UNEMPLOYED PARADE.
m SYDNEY DEMONSTRATION. DEMAND FOR THE DOLE. (Received February 25, 9.35 p.m.) SYDNEY. Feb. 25. Upwards of 3000 unemployed men, women and children marched through Sydney to the Domain to-day. They carried banners on which were painted the phrases: "Down with capitalism," " Soviet.ism in Russia, starvation in Australia." Other devices demanded the dole, and the abolition of dole " pimps." One read: "• Down with the New Guard." The police kept order throughout and the proceedings in the Domain were quiet.
