MOTORIST'S ESCAPE.
COLLISION AT CROSSING. CAR CARRIED 300 YARDS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.]-. CHEISTCHURCH. Thursday..! A married man, Mr.' Lewis Andrew Johnston, aged 30, orchardist, of Chaney's Siding, near Kaiapoi, received head injuries this morning through his motorcar colliding with a train on the Belfast crossing. The car- was carried 300 yards and Mr. Johnston had' a miraculous escape. -
