PARKING IN CITY.
PRIVILEGES RESTRICTED. PROHIBITED IN SOME STREETS. In order 1o expedite traffic, parking privileges in Certain city streets are to be abolished or reduced by the City Council. Jt was deeded by tho council last evening that, the by-law shcild be amended to prohibit parking iu the following stroets: —Chancery Street, City Road, Courthouse Lane, Fort Street Lane, Gore Street Lane, William Street, High Street (east side), O'Connell Street (west side), Short land Street (both sides below High Street, and south side above High Street).
Reductions from a 20 111)1111108' to a 10 minutes' limit are to be made in the following:—High Street. (west side), O'Connell Street (east side). The limit in Sliortland Street, between High Street and tho Auckland Club on the north side only is to be increased from 10 minutes to 20 minutes.
