[FROM Ol'K OWN CORUEsrONDENT.] rUKKKOHK, Thursday. Alleged to have conducted a game of chance at the Mangatawhiri sports on
January 23, a side-show man, charged
under the name of Edward James, ap- ' - peared before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M.. in the Pukekohe Police Court yesterday. Constable Olsen stated that accused s real name was Edward Stockdale. He was using a wheel in conjunction with darts, but concealed under certain numbers on the wheel was a metal plate which prevented the dart adheiing to those numbers. Expressing the opinion that tlie giime was obviously h fraud, the magistiate .-- fined accused £2 10s.
