WOMEN'S DIVISION.
FARMERS' UNION. A meeting of the Cambridge branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held recently, there being a large attendance of members. The president, Mrs. W. G. Care, presided. Reports of the recent bush nurso and housekeeping auxiliary, also the half-yearly executive meetings, were read and discussed. A deputation of the Cambridge Welfare League, consisting of Mesdames Lewis (president), and Gane, waited on the branch and suggested amalgamation. It was felt that if the two bodies worked together, even better results could be obtained. It was decided to amalgamate. The hostesses for the afternoon were Meßdames Woodroffe and Bamforth.
