AUCKLAND CENTRE'S EVENT. A one mile handicap was decided at the Auckland Domain grass track last evening by the Auckland Centre of tho New Zealand Amateur Cycling Union. Twenty-nine started. Riding from virtual scratch in the final, F. J. Casey displayed great form to win by half a length. The event resulted as follows: First, heat: S. G. Webster, 55yds, 1; ,T. 11. McLac}llnn, 60yds. 2; F. J. Casey, 10yds, 3. Time, 2m 24 l-ss. Second heat: A. F. Johnson, 100 yd.". 1; L. M. Nicholson. 100 yds, 2; A. W. O. Robinson, 25yds, 3. Time. 2m 22 4-ss. Final: F. ,T. Casey, I; J. IT. McLachlan. 2; G. S. Collins. 3. Time, 2m 265.
