PROPOSALS BY BRITAIN.
TEMPTATION OF AGGRESSION. STEPS FOR ITS REMOVAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, (deceived February 23, C.5 p.m.) GENEVA, Feb. 22. The British Delegation to the Disarmament Conference to-day submitted to the secretariat of the League of Nations proposals for simplifying the work of the conference. The delegation urged that special attention he given to prohibitions which would weaken attack and remove the temptation of aggression, particularly in the direction of limiting effectives, prohibiting mobile guns above a certain calibre, abolishing submarines, reducing the sizs of warships and the calibre of naval guns, examining the problem of aerial bombing, abolishing gas and bacterial warfare and establishing a permanent Disarmament Conference.
