STARTLING EXPLOIT.
ROUND WORLD FLIGHT. NON-STOP PROPOSITION. NEW YORK. Feb. 19. Secret preparations of the world's most startling aviation exploit were revealed to a representative of the Sun. It was learned that plans are being made for the first 22,000-mile non-stop aeroplane flight around the world. The tentative arrangements call for nine machines to make the trip, eight, to he used as refuellers. The start is scheduled for June. If the project can bo successfully launched, the pilot is likely to be Roger Q. Williams, with Mr. Lombardi, former airfield manager here, as co-pilot. Details are closely guarded by the sponsors, pending the definite workingout of the scheme, but the proposed flight is likely to take in all the continents.
