RING IN AMERICA.
TOM HEENEY DEFEATED. BAER WINS ON POINTS. (Received February 23, 5.5 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 22. In a 10-round boxing match Max Baer defeated Tom Heeney (New Zealand) on points. The winner finished with a rally. It was a rousing contest from start to finish with the New Zealander forcing his younger opponent to the utmost.
