GOLFER'S ACHIEVEMENT.
BRILLIANT SCORE BY ARMOUR T. D. Armour, the British golf champion. won the Miami (Florida) 10.000flollar tournament with the brill-nut score of 2R5, or three under 4\s for the 72 holes. It, is an interesting fact that only once in the history of the British and American championships has a similar score been accomplished. The occasion was at St. Andrews in 1927. when Bobby Jones won the British title for the, second year in succession. It. is stated Armour is certain to bo at Prince's, Sandwich, in June, to defend his title. With him are coming Sarazen and Farrell, a newcomer in 11. Cooper, and possibly Burke, the United States champion. Hagen's movements are still uncertain, although it is highly probable he will be among the American contingent.
