Sir, —I sec repeated reference in your columns to tlie seriousness of the ragwort menace.' Probably few of the Northern settleis know the plant. Travelling by 'rain earlier in the season I saw ragwort flourishing and just coining into flower in the cattle-trucking yards at Topuni and Ahuroa stations. Edward Sciuscuka.
