BOYCOTT OF NEWSPAPERS.
SYDNEY LABOUR RESOLUTION It was resolved at a meeting of the executive of tho Australian Labour Party in Sydney recently to institute a boycott of certain newspapers which were alleged to have distorted political news; and to declare "black" all "Nationalist" newspapers. The president said every member of the organisation and affiliated unions would bo induced to refuse to read the newspapers. "Should this proposal succeed, and 1 have no doubt that it will," lie declared, "it will mark a new era in the political history of the world." A subcommittee was appointed to put the plan into operation.
