THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE. Easier trend continues. The quieter lone on the Auckland Stock Exchange continued yesterday, and dealing again showed a falling off. Support for Government loans remained easy and holders quoted lower rntos. 'J'ho only business done was in 1037 per cent, slock, which was released 7s 6d cheaper at £9B 15s. . Jii banks, buying support for both New Zcalamls and Commercials of Australia weakened a shade, and New South Wales and Unions were available at lower rates. A fall of 6d was registered in Nationals of New Zealand, which were dealt in at L 3 10s 6d. Little movement occurred in insurance, and New Zealands changed hands at the current price of 37s 6d.

Inquiry remained on a fairly steady basis for loan and agency, but coals were neglected and Aucklands were the only gas shares sought. lhc market fol general investments, apart from a movement in British Tobaccos, showed little activity. Offers for Tobaccos were lifted 6d to 26s 3d during the day, at the end of which holders still quoted supplies at the previous day's level of 26s 9d. Australian Glass were done again at 29s 6d, leaving the market firm. Support was withdrawn from Colonial Sugars, for which 5s more was wanted at £39 ss.

Slightly easier conditions also existed in the mining market, which was unproductive of business. Inquiry for Blackwaters and Consolidated Goldficlds was a little firmer, and support for Golden Dawns recovered 2d to 5s lid. Offeis for Waihis, Okaritos, and Mount Lyclls shaded, although supplies were firmly held iu each case. *
