BREEZE AND STORM MISHAPS.
t ORDERS TO PAY COSTS
[BY TELEGRAPH.— PBESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday. Judgments given to-day in the Breeze And St>jini inquiries find that the mishaps to both of these coastal steamers were, contributed to by errors on the part of the captains. Both captains were ordered to pay the costs of the inquiries. The captain's certificate was returned in each case.
The Storm struck an unknown object in a fog near Akaroa Heads in the early hours of December 18. The Breeze grounded at Port Robinson, near Cheviot, the same night.
