SENTENCED TO GAOL.
ACCUSED TO APPEAL. LONDON. Feb. 1?. Geoffrey do Montalk, described as a New Zealand poet, who was sentenced 10 days ago to six months' imprisonment in the second division for publishing an obscene libel, has lodged notice of appeal against the sentence.
