YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—Wet weather was experienced yesterday. A moderate breeze blowing from the north-east and rain feu almost continuously all day. Ihe conditions were threatening last night, the baiometer having fallen to 29.55 m. Wellington.—The weather was overcast in Wellington yesterday. Conaitions were very humid, and there was no wind. Heavy mists hung over the distant hill" tops - .. . Christchurch. —Wet weather prevai e all day in Christchurch yesterday, wit an easterly wind. It was the heaviest fall of rain since October. The baiometer was steady at 29.85 in. Dunedin. —The weather was veiy un settled in Dunedin yesterday. Light intermittent showers fell and the wind was moderate from the north-east. The meter showed little movement registered 29.95 in.
