HAURAKI CONSOLIDATED NEGOTIATION FOR 'SALE. The announcement of provisional arrangements to negotiate the sale of the Hauraki gold mine (Coromandel) in London, is made in the half-yearly report of the directors of Hauraki Mines Consolidated, Limited. It is stated that inquiries for suitable properties with goodprospects have been made from London. In the meantime expenditure has been kept down to a minimum. The mine, the report 6tates, was still under protection, but several tribute parties were operating. KING SOLOMON DEEP LEAD. WASH-UP OP 390 Z. FOR WEEK. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] INVEKCARGILL, Friday. The King Solomon DeGp Lead_ (Gore) wash-up was 390z. for the week s work. REPORTS OF MANAGERS. Golden Dawn (Owharoa).—ln the stopes on Nos. 1 and 3 reefs above No. 3 level three machines have been working three shifts breaking ore for the battery and filling for the stopes. No. 1 reef averages 2ft. 6in. wide, and No. 3 3ft. wide.- ... The one. which is of good value and very fair, requires the mullock sorting ©u . Starts have been made to drive north on both reefs, the faces averaging Ift- and 15in. respectively. On No. level crosscut east, the drive south on the reef cut hers has been extended 6ft., a t° ta l 10ft. The reef here is 15in. wide of good oie, and is improving in size in driving. Tha drive north on the reef cut here has been ~ extended 4ft., a total of 9ft. The re&f is 12in. wide, of good ore, and is al» ..J* improving as the drive extends.
