DISABLED SOLDIERS.
CIVIL RE-ESTABLISHMENT. In connection with the Disabled Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment Act, 1930, an advisory committee for the Auckland district lias been set up. The committee has issued a circular stating that in the event of a disabled ex-soldier not being ablo to produce a volume of output or degree of efficiency to warrant standard wages, an arrangement can bo made with the employer. The committee can supply men for almost every avenue of employment. and the assistance of an expert employment, officer is always at. the disposal of prospective employers, who should coinmunicato with the' registrar of pensions office.
