The Plunket Shield cricket match between Otago and Wellington was commenced this afternoon in dull and showery weather. Play was postponed owing to rain - Considering the conditions the wicket, although soft, was very easy, t!ie outf was ,10t ' as s,ow 85 might have been expected.
