PUKEKOHE QUOTATIONS.

[from our own correspondent.] PUKEKOHE, Thursday. At the stock sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, at Pukekohe to-day, cattle were penned in small numbers and sold at late rates. Dairy cows and heifers brought from £2 to £1 los; fat cows, XI 15s to £3 7s C,d ; others, £1 5s to £1 12s 6d; boner cows, 10s to £1 3s. There was a largy yarding of pigs which sold under keen competition at very firm values. Heavy and medium baconers brought from £2 to £2 7s; licht baconers, £1 12s to £1 18s; porkers, £1 to £1 lis; largo stores. 12s to slips, 7s to 10s; weaners, 3s to Ss.

FRANKTON STORE SHEEP,

Hamilton, report. on the weekly Frankton store sheep sale as follows:—There was on average yarding of ewes and wethers and a fairly heavy offering of lambs. A total clearance was effected under keen competition for nil classes, values being a little firmer than last week's rates. Prices:—Good store lambs, fis 4d to 7s 3d; average conditioned, 5« Td to Ps Id: poorer, 4s fid to Ss 3d: forward average framed wethers, 8s to Os -Id; poorer conditioned, 7a to Ss; poor, 5s fid to fis fid; four and five-year ewes, as 7d to "3 pd; poorer, 4s 9d to 5s 6d.

NORTH AUCKLAND SHEET FAIRS.

The North Auckland Farmers' Co-opera-tive, Limited, report holding very successful sheep fairs at Ohaeawai and Kaikoho. At Ohaeawai there was _n fair yarding and competition was fairly keen, nil classes of sheep selling at slightly above lato rates. Quotations; —Two-tooth wethers, medium quality, 7a 4d to Ss fid; two-tooth ewes, small, 9s 9d; four and six-tooth ewes, 9s 3d; aged ewes. 2s 9d to 3s Gd; four-year ewes, light, condition, fis 3d; lambs, small, shorn, 3s to ?s Id. At Kaikoho upwards of 0000 sheep were yarded. Competition was ngain keen nnd practically everything was sold under the hammer nt advanced prices.
