Sir,—Mr. Shackelford poipts out that the sinking fund will not suffice to pay off the loans due in 1957. He is quite right, but lie must admit that the proportion to be paid is substantial. He also refers to payment of interest which the Audit, Office demanded must be refunded from the distiict fund account, which wanted the money, to the loan account, which did not want it. -fills quite true, but we need not be ghoulish about it.
