HIGHLANDS STORY.
SPANISH GOLD AND LOVE. A thrilling and wholesome adventure story lias been constructed J)V J. Strang Morrison in " Squall -Among the Lochs." The *' lochs " are in the Western Highlands of Scotland about Tobermory and the adventures are almost wholly on a yacht in these waters. There is a search for sunken treasure that, is supposed to have gone down on a galleon of the Spanish Armada, and incidental to the search there is a convincing and finely written description of a yacht in a terrific gale which should-.make the hook of especial interest, to yachtsmen. In the end the story slides gracefully into a love romance and the hero finds his treasure and eloijes with her on the yacht, an ample compensation for his failure to lind the Spanish gold. "Squall Afwiii l!tr Lochs," by J. Strang Morrison. (Bhickwood.)
