COMMONWEALTH BAN. EXCLUSION FROM MAILS. f MELBOTTHNE. Feb. 4. The Federal Government has moved to ban the postal transmission of Communist literature. Mr. J- E. Fer.ton, Postmaster-General* was advised by the Attorney-General, Me. X G. Latham." that the Workers' WeeHy* the Red Leader, the Working Woman, the Pan-Pacific Worker, Yanng Worker and The Soviets To-day. were issued in the interests of "unlawful associations. These papers will be refused transmission through the posj, as the bodies with which they are associated are all mare or less actively engaged in advocating tie overthrow of tiic Government by Yioifinfc or other unlawful means.
