PETROL TAXATION.
DISPOSAL OF PROCEEDS. ROADING PURPOSES URGED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Auckland branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union forwarded a protest, which was adopted by the Dominion executive to-day. against extra taxation on benzine being used for ordinary revenue purposes. Mr. R. H. Feisst said there would probably be a further tax on benzine and the fund should not. be used for other than roading purposes.
