QUEEN CARNIVAL.
ACTIVITIES AT MORRINSVILLE [FROM OUR, OWN COnRESrONDKNT.] MORRINSVILLE, Thursday. The Morrinsville queon carnival campaign, in aid of the Plunket Society's funds, has been carried on vigorously during the past week. The successful gymkhana on Monday lias given tlie Green Queen a substantial lead. The positions of the queens at the last count were as follows: —Green Queen, 5782 votes; Blue Queen, 4551 ; Rod Queen, 3023. A number of dances and parties are being arranged.
