Professor Arnold Wall, who last year resigned the Chair of English at Canterbury University College, is to spend a long holiday in Kashmir. He will leava New Zealand in March and will probably bo away for a year.

Mr. H. Rhodes, of Perth, inspector of the architectural branch of the Western Australian Public Works Department, will return to Australia by the TJlimaroa to-day. Mr Rhodes, who is a New Zealander, has been making an extended tour of the North Island.
