YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Aurkland. —The weather yesterday was fine and sunny, with a light, wind from th« north-east. The barometer was rising last evening, the reading being 29.85 in. Wellington.—Perfect weather was enjoyed yesterday. The sun shone from a a almost cloudless sky, and a light wind blew from the north. Christ church.—A bright morning was followed by a dull afternoon, with a strong breeze from the north-east. The maximum temperatuie was 67 degrees. Tha barometer was falling and the reading in the evening was 29.55 in. Dunedin.—The weather was cloudy and mild, with a light breeze from the northeast, and the maximum temperature was 64 degrees. The barometer fell and th« reading in the evening was 29.50i0.
