CYCLING.
AUCKLAND CLUB'S EVENT. The Auckland Cycle Club held a one mile and a-half handicap at the Khyber Pass grass track last evening. There were 12 startei's. ' The result was:—S. Litchfield, 100 yds, Tj J. H. Wnde. scr. 2; M. Hibburt, 220 yds, 3; G. Hall, 100 yds, 4. Time, 3m 42 1 -ss. Litchfield broke away with the bell, followed by Wade, and held on to \vin'by one and a-linlf lengths.
