FLIGHT OF 40,000 MILES. TRANSATLANTIC AIRMAN. MADRID. Dec. 28. The Spanish transatlantic flier Captain Ignacio Jiminez plans to leave in February on ah ambitious 40,000 miles' flight in a Puss Moth aeroplane. The route mapped out by the airman includes the circumnavigation of Africa and Australia, thence extending to the Far East. Captain Jiminez expects to return to Madrid in May. Captains Jiminez and Inglesias left fjevillc, Spain, in March, 1930, for Port Natal, Brazil, where they arrived after a flight of 35 hours across the Atlantic. Jhe machine, which was called the Jesus del Gran Foder, circled the city and turned south for Rio de Janeiro, where a great welcome was accorded to the airmen.
