CINDER TRACK RACING.
WESTERN SPRINGS EVENTS. A programme which should provide mativ CNciling events lias been arranged for to-morrow evening at the Western .Springs Stadium. The English rider, Tom Farndon, who broke tho track record for the mile last Saturday, will again appear, and another English racer, Roger Froglev, captain of the. Crystal Palace team and of this year's Eliglisti team, will also take part in a thrilling contest with Alf iMattson, who can ,lie expected to provide a keen contest. In addition to the tracjc events, sevrrai other items of entertainment have been arranged. An exhibition of Hal and hurdle racing will he given by two specially selected whippet dogs, and an exhibition of spectacular fireworks will he given after 'lie races. To conclude the evening, dancing will be held on the central green.
